Oh what could’ve been. David Booth. A promising career cut short by an illegal check to the head. If Mike Richards hadn’t checked him in the head, Booth could’ve been a consistent 60 point guy and helped the team in the 2011-12 run. Booth’s 1st game back to the lineup was the first game I ever saw in person. Before the hit, Booth was a promising player. He had 60 points and 31 goals in 2008-09 and was looking like the best sniper the Panthers had played since Pavel Bure. Booth fell off after he was traded though. Booth deserves a spot on the list though mainly due to his statistics.
