@CarterHud and I recap last night’s loss

My thoughts: Dang Lou. Man that is a rough injury. Reims didn’t look very sharp out there. He cost us the game. However you got to hit the net in the shootout. Also Barzal > Crouse.

@CarterHud:

Down 1-0, Anders Lee ties it at 1 in his office, for career goal number 100, and number 16 on the year. Assists go to Calvin de Haan (8) and Adam Pelech (10).

After James Reimer enters the game, a bouncing Thomas Hickey shot goes in for OT specialist’s first of the year. The only assist goes to Josh Ho-Sang (9).

Ho-Sang is back at it again, with a beautiful pass to Brock Nelson for his seventh of the year, but what felt like his first since 2014. Ho-Sang with his 10th assist, and Jason Chimera acquired his fifth assist.

Just 1:58 later, captain John Tavares nets one in front of Reimer, for his 17th. Josh Bailey got his 26th assist, which ties Steven Stamkos for second in the league (Blake Wheeler is 1st with 28), and Nick Leddy added his 16th.
Jordan Eberle and John Tavares both missed their shots in the shootout, with Eberle missing the net, and Tavares falling and could recover enough.

Mat Barzal with scored a nice backhander for the win.

Jaroslav Halak and the Isles defense had a very poor game. Same bad goals were allowed that shouldn’t have. The refs were very inconsistent, with two goals coming after crappy calls on Cal Clutterbuck.
