In this edition of State of the Panthers we will look at who we think will be with us next year.

Aaron Ekblad: Ekblad is a talented player. He is the obvious number 1 defenseman. He is in line to get paid big time. He struggled in the second half (after being cheap shotted by Hendricks) but hopefully the offseason will help him recover.

Brian Campbell: He should be back but for a discount

Dmitry Kulikov: A rumor has recently popped up about Kuli being traded to Boston but I doubt that happens.

Steven Kampfer: He needs a big year to stay with us

Jakub Kindl: I think he will be the odd D-man out

Alex Petrovic: Petro had a great second half. He will be back.

Michael Matheson: Matheson needs a great offensive year to stay with us.
