Why we lost the series

The Florida Panthers have lost to the New York Islanders in 6 games in Round 1 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Here is why they lost: The Islanders played a perfect series. They took advantage of every single little mistake we made and put it in the back of the net. They were also more experienced and more hungry than us. They also had all of their players playing 100% and when there was a mistake Greiss bailed them out. John Tavares reigned dominant getting 5 goals and 9 points. We had been taking stupid penalties at the wrong times, Blowing leads, losing in OT and blowing clutch situations. Look in Game 5 when Barkov screwed up that penalty shot. We also only had a couple of players giving their all. They were Smith, Bjugstad, Kulikov, Petrovic and most of the time Luongo were playing 100%. Everyone else was ok or playing terribly. The ones who didn’t do well at all were Jagr, Campbell and Hudler. Hopefully next time we’ll beat their butts sorry.
