Game 3 Preview: Kiselevich set to make NHL Debut against Vancouver

Saturday October 13th

Vancouver (2-2-0) @ Florida (0-1-1)

Florida: Russian defenseman Bogdan Kiselevich is set to make his NHL debut tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. The 28 year old Russian put up 123 points in 393 KHL games. Kiselevich missed the first two games due to a broken jaw. Kiselevich slides in on the Panthers bottom pair as the Panthers have loaned Jacob MacDonald to Springfield. MacDonald scored a goal in 2 games. On the offensive side of things, the Panthers have made many changes. Denis Malgin and Mike Hoffman have swapped as Malgin enters the top 6 with Trocheck and Huerdeau and Hoffman slides onto third line duty. Frank Vatrano has been scratched in favor of Maxim Mamin who is making his season debut. Mamin put up 4 points in 26 games with the Panthers last year. James Reimer makes his 2nd consecutive start. The Panthers also put Keith Yandle on the 1st powerplay unit and moved Jonathan Huberdeau down to 2nd unit duty after the failed five forward experiment.
