Only 16 of the league’s 31 NHL Teams advanced to the NHL Playoffs and after a hard fought battle for the Atlantic Division the Bolts have come out on top and will start our playoff run on Thursday in a 1st round battle against the Devils. The Devils have beaten the Lightning in ALL of our matchups this regular season…but it’s a clean slate coming into the playoffs as my friend Derek stated the other day “Remember whatever happened this past 82 games doesn’t mean anything anymore.” The Lightning have a huge factoron our side against the Devils which is experience against a very young and unexperienced Devils team.

In 2015… This team had a huge oppurtunity in the Stanley Cup Finals against the Chicago Blackhawks man I remember it like it was yesterday little 13 year old me with my Stamkos T-Shirt on cheering on this team to the final horn. When Duncan Keith scored the series sealing goal with 2:47 left in the 3rd making it a 2-0  lead for the Hawks all I could do was cry as I knew the 2nd greatest playoff run in franchise history…was over. But here I am 3 years later still a Bolts fan through thick and thin through the St Louis trade and the Bishop trade here I am ready for another playoff run. It’s going to be a tough road ahead but this is one of the better Lightning teamsin my opinion and so we aren’t giving up until the last horn of the season.

We have alot of work to do against these Devils but my one prediction… Bolts in 6 #GoBolts
