Means to Be Successful Next Year Part 6

“All good things must come to an end” is one of the most well known clichés ever. Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere but this is the finale article of the 2017-18 Means to Be Successful Article Series. It has been a great ride in this series and thanks for everyone’s support. Today we will look at the two goalies.

Roberto Luongo

Role: Fringe Starter

2016-17 Stats: 40 GP; 17-15-6; 2.68 GAA; .915 SVPCT

Career:966 GP; 453-365-33-102; 2.50 GAA; .919 SVPCT

Luuuu! Luuu! Roberto Luongo is arguably one of the best goalies ever down here in Sunrise. But his time is coming close to an end. Luongo played 40 games last year. He has struggled with many injuries and he hasn’t been the star goalie we need to go deep into the playoffs. While Lu is a good goalie, he is very old and it’s time to decrease his playing time. I say give him 35 starts next year.

Expectations: 35 GP; 15 Wins; GAA<2.75; SVPCT>.908

James Reimer

Reimer had a good year. He finished it with two straight shutouts. Reimer has emerged as the starter for this team. Look for him to get 45 games this year.
