In a season plagued by injuries, Kampfer didn’t see much action. He came close to scoring goals twice only to have them waved off by the refs. Kampfer had a good season all in all. He is an offensive defenseman. I think he is nearing a breakout season as long as he stays healthy. I think if Kampfer doesn’t get that breakout season he will stay the 7th D-Man. I think Kampfer is a good player but this year I don’t think he was meant to get a goal.
