On July 1, 2015 the Panthers ripped off the Boston Bruins in which they gave up Jimmy Hayes for Reilly Smith. Smith was an ironman playing in all 82 games and 6 postseason games. He was a great sniper. He disappeared a lot but when he was scoring he was doing it in like 4 or 5 game streaks. Smith came flying out of the gate in the postseason with 8 points in the first 3 games but cooled down with 0 points in the last 3. Smith was one of the best trades we ever made up there with the Jagr deal and the trade which brought back Roberto Luongo. Smith is in line to make a lot of money. He is one of my favorite players to watch.
