STATS: 66 GP, 28 G, 31 A, 59 PTS

Barkov was by far the best player this year for the Cats. He only played in 66 games due to a hand injury and a cheap shot on him by Justin Abdelkader and he had to go into the Concussion Protocol. If he stays healthy he is a threat. He sometimes disappears for a few games but comes back red hot. Barkov was a candidate for NHL 17 cover and is a candidate for the Lady Byng Trophy. His shootout moves are awesome. He led the team in goals. He got a 6 year $5.9 Million dollar contract so unless he turns out to be a bust like Bolland or has a career ending injury like Savard he is a long term cornerpiece of this franchise.
