– Panthers resign F Troy Brouwer, F Jayce Hawryluk, F Denis Malgin and F Dryden Hunt to  1 year $925,000 deals

-Panthers resign F Anthony Greco to a 1 year $720,000 deal

-Panthers resign F Juho Lammikko to a 1 year $850,000 deal

-Panthers resign D Ian McCoshen to a 1 year $900,000 deal

-Panthers resign G Sam Montembeault to a 3 year $1,400,000 deal

-Panthers resign F Riley Sheahan to a 1 year $1,400,000 deal

-Panthers resign D Michael Downing, D Thomas Schmentish and G Chris Dreidger to 1 year deals worth $700,000

-Panthers extend F Mike Hoffman and F Evengii Dadonov to 5 year deals worth $5,900,000


-Panthers do not resign D Ludwig Bystrom, F Jean Sebastein-Dea, F Henrik Haapala, F Jamie McGinn, D Julian Melchori and F Vincent Praplan

-Maxim Mamin does not resign with the Panthers and decides to play professionally in the KHL.

-F Derek Mackenzie retires

-G Roberto Luongo is forced to retire due to injuries and joins the Panthers front office


-Panthers fire Head Coach Bob Boughner and hire Toronto Marlies Head Coach Sheldon Keefe to be their Head Coach

-Panthers fire Associate Coach Jack Capuano and name Derek Mackenzie an Assistant Coach

-Paul McFarland is promoted to Associate Coach

-Springfield Thunderbirds Head Coach Geordie Kinnear is fired and replaced by Assistant Coach Doug Jannik.


-Dale Tallon is fired as GM

-The Panthers name Chris Progner GM

-Assistant GM Eric Joyce is fired and replaced by Director of Player Personnel Bryan McCabe

-Panthers sign F Artemi Panarin to a 7 year deal worth $9,000,000

-Panthers sign G Seymon Varlamov to a 2 year deal worth $4,225,000

-Panthers sign D Martin Marincin to a 1 year deal worth $800,000


-The Panthers trade D Mark Pysyk to the Anaheim Ducks for F Carter Rowney
